Development of new type energy serves for gasoline and structure for their energy.
The one of new development is an electric vehicle called “eco car”.

These materials have many possibilities but only a few materials have been produced already.
At present time, we are able to get and ride “eco-car” using hydrogen, electric power.
Takaoka Yoshio “MUGAJIN” of this time is a man who produces and develops an eco-car using electric power made in Japan.

 

Takaoka have been loved “vehicle” and he has lots of episodes about vehicle.
First his episode was about “a three-wheeler” when he was 12 years old.
He had drive from Kawasaki of Kanagawa to Itou of Shizuoka by his father’s three-wheeler. The distance is about more 60 miles.
An big adventure for an child even if the fact, and more, from Odawara to Itou was a bas way that time.

Second his charge was about “yacht” when he was junior high school.

Takaoka had been a co-worker of “FUJIJYUKO co.” with enjoyed professional car race ”Triumph TR4” of group 1 from 1960’s, of course, he was a driver!

 

He had tried to produce of new cars, RX, Homologation, adjusting rule of international car races besides a professional car racer.
He is a really tough guy like superman!
These his various experiences and knowledge about automobile were a big estate not only himself but also FUJIJYUKO.
That’s why, his job balance had been changed gradually, shift more creative, like production and development of new cars.
Nevertheless, he didn’t give up his dream what “win a race” by the car that made by himself.
Finally, his dream came true!
He got 5th prize in a race and it was the best as Japanese at the time.

Retirement of a professional car racer, he became a manager of the professional car race team.
The great manager Takaoka’s challenge had been not only races!

 

Next Takaoka’s challenge was……

Creation the car!
Maybe most of divers know the brand “LEGACY” of Subaru at now.
It was produced by him!!

The cars which he made or his think were little bit unique.
They have own history and story.
It is due to his strong wish.

“I want to make the car have a heart!”

“What did you say?”
“I can’t understand!!”
Don’t you think?

We know automobiles are only a metal mass, not a living thing.
But Takaoka said,
“Car was given heart by creator or producer and they need own histories and stories.”

“Japanese bland cars are certainly excellent, only the word. I don’t feel their hearts.
I have a question about a Japanese bland car. What would you do the car after 10years over? They have lots of damages, come off their body colors. Maybe most of people will dispose them. They lack hearts.”

“I want to make the car which won’t be disposed after 10years.”

Are we becoming not to feel a resistance when we dispose something?
The answer is maybe?
But if the thing has a heart, we will feel a resistance to dispose it, don’t you think?

 

When Takaoka had visited Florence of Italy, he got a big shock like a thunder.
He met a quit new vehicle whish was an electric automobile.
Do you remember that he is crazy about vehicles?
That’s why, of course, he tried to drive one.

“It was nice when I droved the electric car in fact.
I had decided to buy the one at “Start Love Inc.” of Milan, as soon as possible.”

 

After Takaoka had backed to Japan, he established his company “AUTO EV JAPAN CO., LTD.” in order to spread an electric automobile and make it what made in Japan bland.

It was not easy way what produce of Japanese bland electric automobile.
Do you know Japanese license system of new products?
It is so closed and strictly system.

You may feel to drive an electric automobile is easy at your place.
But it was not easy to do it in Japan then.
There was no experience and no knowledge about electric automobile in Japan. Japanese homologation system is not flexible about new products and technologies.

Takaoka couldn’t get money for sales because he was engaged in producing and
deferment of the new vehicle like a dream during 5years.
He had made mount of new vehicles and disposed in order to get a homologation.
There were many problems, for example, lithium-ion battery, BMS, charger…

Of course, the problem was not only about a homologation but also technical one and it was difficult problem.
Only to cut down size of an air conditioner of the vehicle with considering the battery is quit difficult.

 

Takaoka told us about an electric automobile,
“Most of Japanese think about electric automobile which is enough to change the battery from gasoline’s engine to electric’s one. But it is not right. They are same transportations but quit different vehicles.
It is needed to create the new lightweight products considering battery use.”

Finally, Takaoka succeeded in the great work that it is said that difficult problem which even a big company get Japanese homologation.
“Girasole” of “AUTO EV JAPAN CO., LTD.”
It is the company name which got first Japanese homologation of electric automobile.

Girasole had been made by not only Takaoka but also all cooperators who approved his dream that create a new electric vehicle possible to drive in Japan. They help Takaoka’s dream using their capitals, techniques and hearts.
Of course, Takaoka had invested all his capital during the period of deployment it. Therefore he feels to appreciate for their helps excessively.
And now, he has become to have stockholders more than 20.

“Nobody believed that my dream would come true when I had started to spread an electric automobile in Japan. But I was convinced to need it such as in Italy.”

It didn’t need so long time when it would be changed the trend.
In the course of time, Takaoka’s dream becomes a social dream and wishes.
However, his mind and wish never change about create an automobile which want to made a genuine thing like an artisan spirit however he got a lots of praise.

 

“I was making automobiles all the time.
I have passion for making automobile. The motive is simple, to joy seeing the automobile which I made in town, to wish creating an automobile which not to dispose. That’s all.”
“I think that it is not good the thing only act out in order to attract attention.
It is difficult to make a genuine thing which has really excellent quality every time.”

“However, I also want to walk the time with taking the head as long as a half of walking width any time.
I think to need such the mind to be a pioneer which tries to find a near future like 30 years after not far away.
In addition, it is necessary to bring up a successor who takes over the mind to say nothing for the techniques in order to take root something to new thing in the world.”

“It is necessary to have pleasure for keeping the idea like an Italians.

About Takaoka’s dream from now;
“I want to get a yacht which sold it before in order to make development expense of Girasole again and I try to trip all over the world by it.
Of course, with Girasole!
I will drive a Girasole at a port a call on the world.”
